Toomey for Senate

Pennsylvania needs a senator that gets it. I hope this man is the answer. If you live in PA, find ways to get involved to elect Pat Toomey and keep the backroom Obama sleeze-dealer out of the picture. No brainer.

Moratorium

So there's a moratorium right now on all offshore oil drilling in the Gulf of Mexico. For America, that is, because all the other countries are still drilling. A moratorium is basically a halt to any activity of offshore drilling. This will just be a quick post because this is a quick thought I had on the matter.

Crude oil is America's primary resource of energy we use it for everything. The recent "green" attempts at energy have, in my opinion, been nothing but manipulative scheme for money. But that's another matter. The basic point is that we do not yet have a viable substitute for oil. I think it's fine to work towards finding other sources but only if they make sense. Oil is sustaining all of our needs right now and if it wasn't for environmental laws, America would be completely dependent in oil use instead of having to import some 66% of our oil.

So right now there is a ban on America's number one source of energy. Anyone see a problem with that? I understand that there was a terrible accident from an offshore oil rig but since when does an accident mean we have to stop everything. If a school bus flies of the road and kills all the children aboard, I can't really think of a worse tradegy than that. However, the next day school buses all around the world are still running.

You might say, "Well we need to get off our oil addiction and start trying new ones because our oil is going to run out." Well first I would be interested in a report that says the world is running out of oil. I'm really sure how you would go about determining that. But the point I'm trying to make is that God would not put us on this earth without enough resources. The only reason God put oil here is for us to use it for energy. He knew what we were going to do with it. God's forknowledge is like our past knowledge. He knew how we were going to use oil and how much. You think you can take God by surprise because we drive around in big Ford F-350s getting 8 miles to the gallon?

The problem with America's use of oil is in the beauracracy. More oil than we'll ever need is buried below America's national parks. We can't drill in those areas of course because of environmental laws. This forces us to drill in international waters and way out in the Gulf and when accidents happen, it is much more tragic. Thank you for letting me give you something to think about.

State v. Fed

I've yet to comment on this blog my opinions of Arizona's recent immigration reform law. This is a reform law that has had everyone in the media and federal government up in arms. Let me give you a few basic facts about the Arizona immigration law that you may not know if you haven't read it, as most of the critics have not.

  • Over 20 times in the Arizona law it states "in accordance with Federal Law #..." The law adds no new immigration reform, it only attempts to enforce what the US law has been for years.

  • The AZ immgration law now makes it a misdemeanor on a state level to reside as an illegal immigrant.

  • Police may not use race or ethnicity as a determining factor in investigating a person's legal status. The only way an officer may question a person's legal status is at a legal confrontation such as traffic stops, arrests, and check points.

So these are general guidelines you can use to debate a person who believes following proper immigration enforcement is illegal, un-American, and God forbid racist. Give me a break on that racist bit. If we had the problem of too many illegal immigrants coming from Canada would there be rallies against the evil racists that are cracking down on the half French people that say "eh" too much? Race has nothing to do with that fact that too many Mexican residents are seeking to live illegally in America. We don't turn away legal residents. There is a perfectly good front door to citizenship that anyone may enter but they choose instead to go through the back door of Arizona, Texas, New Mexico, and California borders. Arizona passed illegal immigration laws because the federal government has been to inept to enforce their own.

Now to get to the real point of this blog. The Obama Administration's reaction to the AZ law has been overwhelmingly negative even though many members have come out and admitted they have not read the law. More liberal states such as California have promoted boycotts of Arizona until they reverse the law. Obama's administration has done nothing but fuel the fire in this debate that is steadily rising to civil war between Arizona and California. Now Secretary of State Hillary Clinton had this to say to an interviewer in Ecuador.

Now if your surprised that this is the first place you've heard about a lawsuit from the Feds to the State, you're right. Somehow Sec. Clinton deemed it acceptable to release that kind of information on an Ecuadorian news station. American media had not gotten that information. The Senate and House of Representatives had not heard of a lawsuit. Even Gov. Jan Brewer of Arizona had to hear about this lawsuit from Ecuador. Brewer has announced she'll fight the lawsuit entirely, as she should, being in sole responsibility of the executive decisions of Arizona. She needs to protect her state at any cost.

The story of Clinton jumping the gun and announcing a lawsuit against Arizona surfaced a few days ago and now an updated story tells that the Obama Administration is indeed pursuing a lawsuit, while their attorney's continue to evaluate the law. This story is something you're really going to have to follow. This Federal Government has over stepped its bounds in so many ways but are they really going to march down to Arizona and tell them they can't make their laws? I understand illegal immigration is a federal issue but when the fed is too incompetent to enforce a law, how wrong is it for a state to exercise its sovereignty? We shall see how far this administration will go to fuel civil war among states.

And in case you'd like a weekend project, please search something out for me. Has the Federal Government ever sued a state over the state's own law. I honestly don't know but from a 5 minute Google search I say no. That would be unprecedented. Search it out though, because I really want to know the situations when its okay for our Federal Government to sue a state. However, I believe this administration thinks that everything is okay when it comes to exercising their power. So I beg you to strive for less power, smaller government, less taxes, more freedom.

2012

I don't see why this man should not get an adequate amount of consideration for the 2012 Presidential Nomination. From other speeches from him he has spoken unapologetically for smaller government. The qualities he pushes for in this particular speech are amazing to hear from a politician. Responsibility, honor, and courage is what the next generation (that's you) needs to restore America. Give up your dependence on government because they will never be able to do for you what you can do for yourself. Governor Christie seems to have a mind to turn the state of New Jersey around and while it might not be him running for President in 2012, I sincerely hope it's someone who speaks and lives with the same values.

Somebody needs to step up to the plate because there are no leaders right now talking about a smaller government and less taxes. I don't know really much of anything about Governor Christie personally but I hope he lives up to the inspirational words he speaks. That will really be the key in 2012. Somebody who is willing to stop being a politician and take responsibility and leadership on their shoulders. In the next 2 years be on the look out for a candidate of values and restorationist mind towards America. That's your job. God bless.

This guy even wrote "The Jungle Book"...

As it will be in the future, it was at the birth of Man.
There are only four things certain since Social Progress began.
That the Dog returns to his Vomit and the Sow returns to her Mire.
And the burnt Fool's bandaged finger goes wabbling back to the Fire.
And that after this is accomplished, and the brave new world begins
When all men are paid for existing and no man must pay for his sins

"The Gods of the Copybook Headings"
Rudyard Kipling 1919

Those words were written in 1919 by Rudyard Kipling. That's right, the guy that wrote "The Jungle Book". While I've come to prefer Disney's version of Mowgli and Baloo's jungle adventures, this guy was a pretty fair writer. In fact, Kipling won the Nobel Prize in literature in 1907. The most amazing part about Kipling to me is that he lived through the first era of Progessivism and remained a staunch libertarian. Kipling knew the price of a man's freedom could not be bought by any sort of government.

Kipling says you are a fool if you follow social progress because it always leads back to the same thing. "The burnt fool's hand goes wabbling back to the fire." People are fools when they believe that a progressive government will save them from the fire. The only thing a progressive government will do is make you believe your being pulled out of a fire only to be put into another one.

"When all men are paid for existing". Welfare? Health care? Bailouts? Progressive government wants to create rights for you. Rights do not come from man. Progressive government will not give you anything real. Your rights are "endowed by your Creator" if I may quote our Declaration. You do not get paid for living.

"And no man must pay for his sins". I don't even have to venture into that part of the discussion. You're living in a world where there are no consequences for evil that people do. They can commit felonies as a senator and never be questioned. They can organize with radical marxists and get a position as a presidential adviser. They can promote terror from a desert and receive compassion from foreign diplomats. There is no line a progressive government will not cross.

But I know that is not you. You are willing to fight against totalitarianism. You do not need a man to give you your rights. You have your rights from the God that created you and is ever present in this world. I know that you will fight against a government that seeks to own you.

Anyway, if you want to know more about the evils of progessivism, email me. And check out more of Rudyard Kipling's work. He was a writing genius who despised big government. Shortly before he died he gave a speech entitled "An Undefended Island" about the danger that Nazi Germany would infringe upon the United Kingdom. But I won't blame you if you just choose to watch Baloo sing "The Bear Necessities".

Home, let me go home.

Who is Helen Thomas? Who knows. I never knew until a few days ago.

Well Helen Thomas is a woman who's face isn't even as ugly as her hatred. And her face ain't pretty. She has served as a White House journalist since the Eisenhower era which makes her 89 years old. Not to diss on old people but her remarks this week had nothing to do with being senile and everything to do with having a deep hatred and evil buried inside of her.

Watch this video and try to keep your dinner down..

I can't think of anything more offensive and callous to say to Jewish people. Here is the full transcript in case you can't see the video:

Reporter: Any comments on Israel?
Thomas: Tell 'em to get the hell out of Palestine.
Reporter: oooh. Any better comments on Israel?
Thomas: Hahaha... Remember these people are occupied and its their land, not Germany and not Poland.
Reporter: So where should they go, what should they do?
Thomas: They should go home.
Reporter: And where's home?
Thomas: Poland. Germany.
Reporter: You think Jews should go back to Poland and Germany?
Thomas: And America and everywhere else.

As if there has not been enough hatred towards Israel recently, these unapologetic statements to the welfare of Jewish people is simply horrifying.

The most horrifying part of Thomas' comments, to me, was when she said Jews should leave "Palestine". I understand the general region around Israel and Jordan is known as Palestine, but don't be naive to think that's what Thomas was referring to. She believes Israel is not the Jewish peoples home. She believes the region should belong to Palestinians, Islamic militants, and terrorists.

If you believe the Bible, you believe that the Jewish nation has a place in Israel. The fact that Islam is reigning down upon the region has nothing to do with the land. If you think it's because they want to own the land of Israel, the country slightly smaller than New Jersey, you're completely ignorant. The land is nothing but desert and mountains. There is nothing significant about the land for Islam to want it so bad. The Palestinians wanting control of Israel has nothing to do with the land and everything to do with wanting to stomp out every Jewish and Christian person on the face of the planet. Do not think Helen Thomas is the only one. Islamo-facists have their hands around the necks of Israel and for some reason their support in the media is growing. The evil is growing and mounting up against Israel.

This is my protest to the young generation: Do not be foolish and believe what God has promised Israel. The media will sell nonsensical ideas of peace between Israel and Palestine but insane journalists are too limited to see that there is no possibility of peace between a country that vows to kill another country in their own homelands. Islamo-fascism has repeatedly swore to wipe Israel, who they call the "little satan", off the map but yet almost the entire world has painted Israel as its enemy against peace. Can't you see how insane this is.

Helen Thomas is not the only one. Evil is in this world. Evil will disguise hate as peace and insane as reasonable. The fact that Israel is already living in its rightful home is proof to Satan that he is already losing. Revelation chapter 12 will tell you what evil will try to do to Israel but Revelation chapter 20 will tell you how God has already defeated evil.

What the Beatle?

Sir Paul McCartney was able to prove how apt a drug-ridden British mind worked when commenting on American politics. Paul was presented the Gershwin Prize by President Obama this week and, followed by roaring laughter, said:

"It's a fantastic honor (for) the Gershwin family to give me this incredible award and for me to be awarded it by the Library of Congress. And in fact, after the last eight years, it's great to have a president who knows what a library is,"

Classy.

Several points to be made here. First, I'm not exactly the biggest President Bush fan but I am an American citizen so I seem to be one upping Sir Paul in that case. When he says "It's great to have a president" I'm concerned to where he thinks he's been in the last eight years.

Secondly, oh so you don't think President Bush knew what a library was, I mean that's funny. I'm guessing since Bush has been out of office for almost 2 years that Paul has been just dying to get a chance to use that one. Is that what we still do? Make cheap shots at former Presidents?

Thirdly, wait a minute, who is Bush's wife. Laura Bush, the librarian? Well yeah that's the truth there. Former President Bush's wife Laura has been a librarian most of her life so we have to assume he has heard of this library, maybe even saw a picture.

Lastly, George W. Bush graduated from Harvard Business School with an MBA. In fact, he's the only president to ever do so. And I know they have some of those libraries up there in Harvardville.

This is why liberals fail. They do not have truth on their side. I mean no one really cares what Paul McCartney says most of the time, but really, what's up with the thunderous laughter after his statements.

Classy.

Oil and Water

Nero fiddled while Rome burned.
Who knows if that statement is fact. It's surely popular folklore.

I hope everyone in my generation realizes that they are living through the worst ecological disaster in United States history. April 20th is the day that a BP offshore oil rig exploded and started to leak, what some now estimate, 20 to 40 million gallons of oil into the Gulf of Mexico. If you are in my generation I understand that not all of you read the news or pay attention to the government and I understand that some probably do. So I want to inform you that this event is BP's fault. Why wouldn't it be, it's obvious. But what is not obvious is why our increasingly amateur administration continues to be worthless in acting upon the situation.

I love nature a lot. I know that I love nature more than most liberals who develop theories and write books on nature. I know without a doubt that I spend more time in nature than any liberal developing theories or writing books.

What I can not comprehend is why every liberal environmentalist and every conservative capitalist has not united in this case and demanded an answer to the lackadaisical and half-hearted response by the Obama administration. How much worse could it get. Millions of gallons of oil is polluting the ocean right now, killing all of fish, all the birds, all the crabs and washing up on beaches. Where are you liberal environmentalists? Millions of gallons of oil is polluting the ocean and destroying fishing businesses, destroying tourist beach areas and will ultimately skyrocketing the price of oil. Where are you capitalists?

Everyone gets hurt in this situation but if you would, could you tell me what our president is doing....

I said it at the beginning, Nero fiddled while Rome burned. Obama... has done everything except take action to save the ocean.

Let me breakdown a timeline of important activities the president has done since April 20th.

Day 1- April 20th-
BP oil rig explosion, oil starts leaking
Day 3- Obama hosts reception to honor Earth Day (no irony intended), then flies to NYC to tell Wall Street what to do.
Day 4- Takes a vacation in Asheville, NC (he had BBQ for lunch) and golfed.
Day 5- Golfed... (I'm not kidding)
Day 12- Hangs out with Jay Leno at a White House Correspondents Dinner and makes jokes about his birth country. (ha?)
Day 13- FINALLY makes a speech in Louisiana about the disaster.
Day 16- Cinco de Mayo party!!!!
Day 19- Golfed....?
Day 20- Commencement speech at Hampton University. The one where he said information can be distracting. I hope I'm not distracting you by providing a factual timeline here.
Day 22- Golf with Joe Biden. That's a little different.
Day 25- FINALLY addresses the oil spill in a White House speech.
Day 26- Golf. Like you didn't see that coming.
Day 30- Hosts Mexico's president Felipe Calderón and they have fun bashing Arizona and America together.
Day 33- Golf. How could I make this up?
Day 36- Attends party with Getty oil family in San Francisco and then snaps to his aides, "Plug the damn hole." (ohhhhhhhh.)

For Memorial Weekend the Obama family also had a lovely vacation in Chicago next to the Farrakhan family.

And to top this eventful six weeks off, Obama got to present Sir Paul McCartney with the Gershwin prize for popular song and Sir Paul just gushed and gushed about Mr. President, kind of like how the oil leak is gushing and gushing.

and gushing.
